Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 19, 2026

Plain-English summary. We collect the minimum personal information needed to find you on data broker sites and submit removal requests. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising or AI training. You can delete your account and your data at any time.

1. Who we are

ID Delete, Inc. ("ID Delete", "we", "us") operates this website and the privacy-removal subscription service. If you have questions, email privacy@iddelete.com.

2. What we collect

To operate the service we collect: full legal name and any prior names you provide; current and previous addresses; phone numbers; email addresses; date of birth (optional); and account credentials. We also collect routine technical information (IP address, browser type, pages visited) and billing information processed by our payment provider (Stripe).

3. Why we collect it

Your identifiers are used exclusively to (a) identify your records on data broker websites and (b) submit, track, and verify deletion requests on your behalf. We do not use them for any other purpose.

4. What we never do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers, analytics partners, AI/ML training providers, or any third party other than the data brokers we are deleting you from. We do not display advertising. We do not have a "free tier" subsidized by data resale.

5. Service providers

We use a small number of vetted vendors to operate the service, including: Stripe (payment processing), Amazon Web Services (hosting), Postmark (transactional email), and Sentry (error monitoring). Each vendor is bound by a Data Processing Agreement and may only process your data on our instructions.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep your identifiers while your subscription is active. If you cancel, we delete identifiers within 30 days. Removal-request logs (which broker, when, what response) are retained for two years for legal and dispute-resolution purposes, in de-identified form where possible.

7. Your rights

Under CCPA, CDPA, CPA, CTDPA, UCPA, and similar laws, you may: request a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, and opt out of any sale (we don't sell). To exercise any right, email privacy@iddelete.com or use the "Cancel & delete my account" button in Settings. We respond within 30 days.

8. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Production access is logged, audited, and limited to a small number of engineers. We run a public bug-bounty program; report vulnerabilities to security@iddelete.com.

9. Children

The service is intended for adults 18+. The Family plan covers children with the verified consent of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children outside that flow.

10. Changes

If we materially change this policy, we'll email all active customers and post a notice on the homepage at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
